The blue light from LEDs in the screens of phones, computers, and TVs has an average wavelength of 450 nanometers; of the visible spectrum, it is the closest to UV light. Despite its seemingly invisible effects, prolonged exposure to blue light permanently damages our lives — impairing eyesight and interrupting sleep schedules.
