Stress Management
How to deal with stress? I watch comfort videos through ramen noodle mukbangs but no amount of noodle asmr helps anymore as I just get really hungry and jealous. I don't know; I’m really struggling here.
You are one of many people who wrote in asking about stress management! This is something that I struggle with as well, so here’s what has been helping me. I think it’s important to understand where the stress is coming from. Are you putting pressure on yourself? Are you worried about college applications? Are your friends or family making things worse? Is it your community? It’s probably a combination of factors, but it helps to identify what is causing your stress in order to come up with strategies to help reduce those factors. If people around you are talking about school or grades and you notice it starting to stress you out, change the subject. You should remind yourself about how subjective the college application process is. Work on your relationship with yourself and pay attention to how you talk to yourself. Set time aside in your day to do something you enjoy. For me, I like to crochet when I am feeling stressed out or overwhelmed. It is not possible to remove stress from your life completely, so it’s important to practice managing your stress in a healthy way.
